The 2008 contest will be held Saturday, April 12, in the Animal Science Building on The Ohio State University Campus in Columbus. Registration will be from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. with the contest beginning at 9:15 a.m. The State Contest will be a double elimination contest with two senior teams and two junior teams from each county. Entry deadline is MARCH 1, 2008, no exceptions.

For a team to enter the state contest, they must write 60 questions from the references listed, give the correct answer, and give the source and page from which the question is taken. The questions are to be submitted in Word Format on a disk or attachment to email, double space at 12 point font. Questions must be submitted by March 1st with your entry. Please Note: if no questions are submitted by the entry deadline the team will not be allowed to participate in the contest!!! The entry fee for the 2008 contest is $30 per team. Checks should be made out to "The State 4-H Horse Committee".

**Each team receives 1 parking pass included with their entry fee.  If you need additional parking passes, please indicate how many are required and include that amount with your entry form.

To get to the Animal Science building, travel Route 315 through Columbus. When you get to the University area, exit at Lane Avenue; go East to the first intersection (Fyffe Road). Turn south onto Fyffe. At the next intersection, Fyffe and Woody Hayes, turn right and then left at the next intersection and then enter the first parking lot on the left side.
