4-H : State Groom and Clean Contest Rules
4-H clover logo

The primary objective of the Groom & Clean Contest is to provide an opportunity for youth enrolled in a 4-H horse project to demonstrate their knowledge of horses and equine related subject matter (written test), grooming and team work skills (grooming phase) and their showmanship skills (showing phase) in a competitive yet friendly and relaxed setting.

A special Thank You goes to the Ohio Horse Council for the sponsorship of this contest, Mrs. Sheila Bushong for her continued support, coordination and organization of this event, and all the 'Dirty Demons' that have made this contest such a success.  Thank You!!
